Top 5 Cheap Hostels Perfect For Your London Contiki Departure

Stay in comfort & save serious money for your Contiki trip #winning ๐Ÿ™Œ

If you’re booked on a Contiki trip departing from London, then you’re going to be leaving from their ‘Contiki Basement’ HQ located in the basement of the Royal National Hotel.

The Royal National Hotel is recommended by Contiki as a great place to stay prior to or after your tour. Now, because Contiki isn’t what you’d consider luxury travel, you would be right to expect that this hotel isn’t so great. It’s only rated 3/5 on TripAdvisor which isn’t the best – but it is cheap for London and it’s perfectly acceptable

As a past Contiki traveller myself, I stayed in the Royal National Hotel prior to my departure (actually, so did a lot of others too). In my opinion, the best thing the Royal National Hotel has going for it, is that it’s literally right above where your bus leaves from – so it’s super handy.

But if you’re on a tight budget, you might want to spend less for something just as good within a 5 – 10 minutes walk from the Contiki Basement, so why not check out these 5 hostel alternatives?

ℹ️ We compared prices for the following hostels against that of the Royal National Hotel for April and the best available online rate was £85.00 – considerable higher than the hostels listed below. Just think of what you could spend that extra money on 🙌
